Infrared remote-control protocols, as hardware-independent timings.

An encoder produces Pulses, each a carrier-on “mark” followed by a carrier-off “space”, in microseconds. The board layer turns them into its pulse generator’s format (RMT on ESP32) and adds the carrier.

Modules§

nec
NEC protocol (the most common consumer IR format): 38 kHz carrier, 9 ms + 4.5 ms leader, 32 data bits LSB-first, pulse-distance coded.

Structs§

Pulse
One carrier burst (mark_us) followed by silence (space_us).
