Expand description

How a physical panel sits inside the controller’s frame memory.

Fields§

§width: u16

Visible width in native (portrait) orientation.

§height: u16

Visible height in native orientation.

§offset_x: u16

Column of the first visible pixel in frame memory.

§offset_y: u16

Row of the first visible pixel in frame memory.

§memory_width: u16

Frame memory width (240 for ST7789).

§memory_height: u16

Frame memory height (320 for ST7789).

§bgr: bool

Panel wires sub-pixels in BGR order.

§invert: bool

Panel needs colour inversion (INVON) for correct colours.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Panel

Source

pub const fn geometry(&self, rotation: Rotation) -> Geometry

Window and MADCTL for rotation.

When the scan direction is mirrored on an axis, the visible window moves to the far end of frame memory on that axis. That is why a panel offset of 52 can become 53 once rotated.

Trait Implementations§

impl Clone for Panel

Source§

fn clone(&self) -> Panel

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Source§

impl PartialEq for Panel

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Panel) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable)§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
