Struct Level

Source
pub struct Level {
    pub peak: f32,
    pub rms: f32,
    pub dc: f32,
}
Expand description

Peak and RMS level of a block of samples, relative to full scale.

Fields§

§peak: f32

Largest absolute sample, 0.0..=1.0 of full scale.

§rms: f32

Root-mean-square, 0.0..=1.0 of full scale.

§dc: f32

Mean sample value (DC offset), -1.0..=1.0 of full scale.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Level

Source

pub fn measure(samples: &[i16], offset: usize, stride: usize) -> Self

Measures every stride-th sample starting at offset. Use (0, 2) for the left channel of interleaved stereo, (0, 1) for mono.

Source

pub fn rms_dbfs(&self) -> f32

RMS in dBFS (0 dBFS = full scale); -inf for digital silence.

Source

pub fn peak_dbfs(&self) -> f32

Peak in dBFS.

impl Clone for Level

Source§

fn clone(&self) -> Level

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more
1.0.0 (const: unstable)§

impl Debug for Level

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Source§

impl Format for Level

Source§

fn format(&self, f: Formatter<'_>)

Writes the defmt representation of self to fmt.
Source§

impl PartialEq for Level

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Level) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable)§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
